Under Sysco’s Specialty Meat Group, Buckhead Dallas services the Dallas Fort Worth area. Founded as Freedman Foods in 1991, the company was acquired by Sysco in 2001 to become what it is today. The facility currently has an SQF Level 2. The facility currently employs over 330 employees spread across production to sales with a simple operating philosophy, to provide the finest quality product at the best price. Our meats are held to rigorous standards to achieve the desired palatability traits of tenderness, juiciness and flavor.
